The Helix Green Team

The Helix Green Team is open to all on Tuesday morning. If you are interested in some outdoor practical conservation volunteering within the Helix Park then this is the group for you. The parks staff enjoy planning, preparing and supervising these sessions with the volunteers. With all hands on dirt, we get so much more done and always see a real benefit to our mornings efforts. Plus we enjoy sharing out the delicious cakes prepared by Jason, the Visitor Centre Chef. Bring your enthusiasm, weather appropriate clothing and wear sturdy shoes.

Sessions last from 10am - 1pm.

Walk Leaders for Short Health Walks

We are looking for volunteers to expand our health walks and help out at our busy existing groups. This is ideal for people who wish to combine getting out and active, whilst being sociable and helping others. If you have a spare hour each week to come for a walk, then please contact us at stepforth@falkirk.gov.uk She will provide you with information, training and support.

Event Volunteers 

The Helix has a number of events on in the park that need volunteers to make them a success. Previous events that our volunteers have been a vital part of include Fire & Light, The Big Picnic and Horsepower.
