Callendar House is the historic jewel in the Falkirk Community Trust crown, you can even have a delicious Afternoon Tea here! Dating back to the 14th century, this French-chateau styled stately home has a surprise around every corner. The House's permanent displays are The Story of Callendar House, a history covering the 11th to the 19th centuries, The Antonine Wall, Rome's Northern Frontier, and Falkirk: Crucible of Revolution 1750-1850, tells how the local area was transformed during the first century of the industrial era.
The Park Gallery offers a changing programme of contemporary visual art exhibitions, while different aspects of cultural heritage are explored in the 2nd Floor Galleries exhibition space. Last entry to exhibitions is at 4pm. Falkirk Archives are also located here, with the search room occupying the House's Victorian library.
With an authentic Georgian Kitchen and gift shop, it is set in the nationally-important historic designed landscape of Callendar Park which also contains a section of the Antonine Wall World Heritage Site. Callendar House Tearoom serves delicious home-cooked breakfasts, lunches and Afternoon Teas. Afternoon Teas can be pre-booked by calling 01324 506850.

This 4.5 star TripAdvisor rated visitor attraction and venue also hosts our elegant afternoon teas in the Drawing Room, where you will tuck into a sumptuous selection of sweet and savoury treats with a stunning selection of teas. All from just £12.95 per person with the option to upgrade to include a glass of fizz or Sea Glass Gin. Booking is essential to guarantee a table.
