Explore cycling activities at The Helix
If you want to see the Union Canal Tunnel and the railway
culvert, take this route.
A great place to start the HArTT. You'll find a cafe on the top
floor of the Falkirk Stadium too.
The heart of The Helix - you'll find the Lagoon and the Great
Lawn here, plus the splash play area and the Adventure Zone play

Discover this accidental wetland. A great example of plant
succession, and a lovely place to catch your breath.

Travel onto the Forth & Clyde canal towpath. This canal is
now re-connected to the Forth, thanks to The Helix canal

distilling took place in the Falkirk area.

together art and engineering.
Carefully excavated to prevent disturbance of the remains of the
Antonine Wall under which it passes.
A 32 mile long waterway, connecting Falkirk to the heart of
Connecting to Glasgow and Edinburgh, Falkirk High is another
great place to join the HArTT.
A 695 metre long tunnel. Let your imagination run wild as you
make your way under the resident stalactites.
You can pass over the tunnel at this point, and we recommend
this for a safer connection to the rest of the HArTT.
This is the grandfather of parks, created in the 12th Century
with part of the Roman Antonine Wall within its boundaries. A great
place to explore.
Built in the 14th century, Callendar House is bursting with
exhibits on the rich history of the area. You can tour the House,
pop in for a coffee in the Tea Room, browse the gift shop or check
out the latest art exhibition in the Park Gallery.
