Access and Accessibility
Helix Park is accessible 24 hours a day, all year except during
special circumstances. The Kelpies are always
accessible for a visit, however The Kelpies Tours only run at
certain times. The Kelpies are light up every night and free to
The Kelpie car parking charges are as follows. Please note
there is FREE parking at the small 78
space car park in the Helix Park and Falkirk Stadium, which is
short walk from The Kelpies.
10 am - 8pm everyday.
PLEASE NOTE: The Kelpies Car Park is closed at 8pm.
There is no egress until 8am when the car park

Please note: The car parks for Helix park
and The Kelpies fill up early in the morning during nice weather
and holidays, so to avoid long delays we recommend you park at
Falkirk Stadium and enjoy the short walk through The Helix to The
Kelpies. You'll find a finger post directing you to the Helix
from the north side of the car park.

Our brand new visitor centre is now open! We are open
9.30am to 5:00pm 7 days a week, pop in to explore
The Kelpies story, browse our gift shop and sample some tasty home
baking and a cuppa. You can find the new visitor centre down
by The Kelpies.
The Plaza Café is open seven days from Easter to October and
serves a selection of sandwiches, snacks, hot and cold drinks, and
ice creams for warmer days.
The Helix Park Toilets are located at the Plaza Cafe, Visitor
Centre and Kelpies Car Park.
The Splash Play area is open every day during the summer
holidays until 8:00pm, we recommend spare dry clothes and a
