Roman ruminations

6 September 2012

Would you like to learn more about the ancient Roman fort on the Antonine Wall at Mumrills, near Polmont?

Then why not make a date with Geoff Bailey, keeper of Archaeology and Local History, Falkirk Community Trust, later this month?

Geoff will be giving his first talk at 10.00am on Tuesday 18th September, at Westquarter Primary School.

Geoff will be giving his second talk at 7.30pm on Thursday 20th September at Polmont Old Parish Church.

Entry to both talks is free. The evening is being hosted by Polmont Old Parish Church History Group, and the morning is being hosted by Westquarter Community Project.

Geoff's talks are just one part of the wider Big Roman Week (September 17-23) celebrating the rich heritage of the Falkirk area.

Head to our Events page for details of the week's other events.
