The Kelpies were a star attraction at the Kinneil Heritage Day in Bo'ness.

The event, which took place in the grounds of Kinneil Estate on Sunday 29th August, offered a feast of family fun.

A Robin Hood theme ran throughout the day, with archers, merry men and medieval fun and games keeping visitors amused.

And, as our pictures show, many stopped to admire the three-metre-high Kelpie maquettes.

The full-size versions. set to be 10 times taller, will be a key feature of the Helix.
